No. If you wanted to go to the gym, you'd already be going. You're looking for a fitness alternative. You're looking to have fun. That's where Aerial Dance comes in!

Pole and Aerial is best learned by DOING Pole and Aerial. The muscle recruitment and strength needed are not built in a typical gym, they are built on the apparatus. We have women who have strong fitness backgrounds attend week 1 Beginner Pole and women who haven't worked out in years attend week 1 Beginner Pole. Each is on her own journey and will progress in her own timeline. You WILL gain a lot of strength by doing pole and aerial. Give yourself time to do that by showing up weekly.

You don't need to be strong to start, you just need to show up!
